Walworth Street Views - 11/29/2008 From Walworth Street looking south over Washington Street on the old branch line. The building on the left was built with an angled side to avoid the tracks. It is listed in the D&H survey of 1918 as built by the Adirondack Railway in 1875 but no use is shown. The old office is on the right. From Washington Street looking north on Walworth Street. The Adirondack Branch went along the right side of the road until 1959. Imagine hauling ore trains through these streets! Jon Patton Photos |
