Riverside Patrol Car - 1925 This is Bob Wakeley on a three wheel pump car with his daughter Sarah sitting on the front. Bob patrolled behind the steam engines to look for fires started by sparks. Gas powered cars came in about 1927. This photo is in front of the Kipp house across the tracks from the Riverside Station. John Kipp managed Waddell's grain store next to the station from the 1920s into the 1940s.
