F A Reynolds Company Length = 19.25" When Foster A. Reynolds left the HN White Company in 1935, he took many of the ideas that he and others had developed over the years there to use in his new company. One of the concepts was using a bell made from solid Sterling silver. White had been using these since the late 1920s and Reynolds continued this up until their sale to RMC at the end of 1960. This is an unrestored and unrepaired example that's still wearing its original lacquer and dates to about 1948. The bell is Sterling silver and the lead pipe is nickel silver. The cost, as shown below in this 1949 advertisement, was $250 which in 2021 would be $2,675. A warranty card I modified from an image found online. |
